A Kidsight Training & Zone Meeting was held in Bayfield on Sat. May 24th. In attendance were Bayfield, Mancos, & Cortez Lions Clubs. Amy Springer provided training for the new Kidsight camera and printer. Afterwards the Zone Meeting produced concerns about membership, visitations within the region, helping other Clubs within the region with fund-raising projects, and dates for future Zone Meetings. Bayfield Lions Club is hosting their annual Steak Fry Sun. Aug. 10th, and will try to incorporate a Zone & Cabinet Meeting that day. Durango Lions Club is selling Snow Cones at Durango Silverton Rail Road next weekend – June 13, 14 & 15 for Tommy The Train. Dates and activities from Region V are forthcoming.
