Lion Dan was born and raised in Billings, Montana. After graduating from Billings Central High School, he went off to college at the University of Montana in Missoula. It was there that he met Lion Dian. They have been married for thirty years and have three children (one daughter and two sons). They also have three grandsons.
Lion Dan joined the Orchard Mesa Lions Club in July 1998. He has been club president twice. At the District level he has served as Zone Chairman (2001-02), Regional Chairman (2003-04), Cabinet Secretary/Treasurer (2004-05) and Cabinet Treasurer (2005-06). At the State level, he has served as trustee for the Colorado Lions Camp (3 years) and president (1 year).
Lion Dan is looking forward to serving the Lions of 6W as Vice District Governor for the upcoming year.
